Should I color my hair or see a professional?
In general, if you want to go more than two shades lighter or darker than your natural color, you should see a professional. There is no such thing as damage-free or risk-free coloring; therefore, there is no guarantee that your hair will be unharmed.
What exactly is gray mixing hair color?
Grey blending is the process of meticulously integrating grey hair into an otherwise natural-colored head of hair using a hair coloring procedure.
What is balayage?
Balayage is a French term that translates as “to sweep.” Highlights are hand-painted or “swept” over the surface of random parts of hair in this hair color process. Typically, dye or lightener is painted on, beginning in the midshaft and growing heavier as it progresses down the section of hair to the ends.
Is balayage better than highlights?
Balayage is the way to go if you want delicate highlights to break up your hair. It will offer a more blended look.
How long does a balayage last?
With appropriate maintenance, Balayage hair may last up to 4 months.
There are no foils involved. The goal is to get a natural, sunkissed look that may be achieved on any length of hair, from long waves to short pixie haircuts, as well as on color.
